In his weekly presidential report card, pollster John Zogby finds that President Obama continues to remain relevant in the last years of his presidency due to an improving economy and the Iran nuclear deal.
"What with all the Donaldfoolery of the past couple of weeks, we need a reminder that we have a president and he is still relevant. And he is also more comfortable in his presidential shoes.
"The debate over the Iran nuclear deal has begun in earnest and there is still no credible evidence that congressional opponents will knock it down. Applications for jobless benefits are down dramatically, proof to some that the economy continues to be in recovery.
"And Mr. Obama promises to extend amnesty to even more illegal aliens than any of his previous orders or plans. Like him or not, the president is holding all the cards."
