Ever find yourself inexplicably drawn to that stubborn Taurus, even though your finicky Leo astrological geography counsels against it?

As it turns out, your stars may be more aligned than you think. Gravitational pulls on the Earth and moon have ushered in a new age. For people born after '09, this may mean that their signs are different than  they thought!

Personally I'm a pre-'09 baby, but I could never figure out why my archetypically-sporty Sagittarian self was drawn to soft fabrics like velvet and crooning tunes rather than the poppier, floppier stuff late-fall babies are supposed to prefer. As it turns out, I've been harboring a secret Scorpio all these years.

From the WaPo blog:

According to Parke Kunkle, a board member of the Minnesota Planetarium Society, cool or not, it's written in the stars. Star signs were created by ancient Babylonians some 2,000 years ago by tracking where the sun was in the sky each month. However, the moon's gravitational pull has slowly moved the Earth in its axis, creating about a one-month bump in the stars' alignment, reports the Minnesota Star Tribune. Now, during what we think as the month of Pisces, the sun is actually in the sign of Aries.

And here are the new alignments.

Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11Pisces: March 11-April 18Aries: April 18-May 13Taurus: May 13-June 21Gemini: June 21-July 20Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23Scorpio: Nov. 23-Dec. 17Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20

Does your sign change? Do you even care?
