Wyclef Jean will be heading to Washington to perform at an event to benefit Haitian journalists at the National Press Club. Jean will be in town Wednesday, Jan. 26, along with Haitian Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive and other musicians for an event entitled "Night of Solidarity with Haitian Journalists." At least 30 journalists were among the 300,000 fatalities caused by last year's earthquake. The event will include musical performances, along with the reading of a report on press freedom in Haiti by Reporters Without Borders, and a silent auction of Haitian art. The public can purchase tickets for $100. National Press Club Members can buy tickets for $75.
