The Montgomery County Board of Education would like to pick parents' brains on who should replace Superintendent Jerry Weast when he retires June 30. They've already hired a consulting firm, which will meet with "a diverse cross-section of leaders and stakeholders" later this month, School Board President Chris Barclay said.
But a little thing called community input matters too, so the board is holding additional forums at multiple locations on three nights — see the dates and locations below. Need a sitter? Child care is available, but contact the board office first at 301-270-3617.
Can't make it at all? Provide input on an online survey that will go up on the website in mid-January and remain live through early February.
