Public input sought on next Montgomery schools superintendent Montgomery County Public Schools is holding six community forums this week to get public input on its search for Superintendent Jerry Weast's replacement. Weast plans to retire at the end of June, and the school system has hired a search firm that will pick parents' brains for the qualities they want to see in the next schools chief. Community members may attend Monday information sessions at Northwest High or White Oak Middle; Tuesday sessions at Bethesda Elementary or Montgomery Village Middle; or Wednesday sessions at Wheaton High or the Carver Educational Services Center. All forums start at 7 p.m. lgartner@washingtonexaminer.com
