Tuesday night on CNN's Erin Burnett Out Front, editor William Kristol discussed the news that Donald Trump refuses to pivot towards a traditional presidential campaign.

BURNETT: So this word pivot though, Bill, has become a crucial word, OK? I have talked with people who were in the room during these conversations over the summer. It got very heated whether Donald Trump should pivot or not. And at one point, he said "get out of the room." I don't want to hear the word... He banned the word. OK? He banned the word. KRISTOL: It's an idiotic word. It's one of the few things I agree with Donald Trump on. He can't pivot. He is who he is, he's done what he's done. Now he's going to have Roger Ailes... I love the image of now, Roger Ailes will be giving him advice. What a meeting that's going to be. Donald Trump regaling Roger Ailes, Paul Manafort, and Rick Gates... his top campaign guys... With stories of how he's made fun of disabled reporters, and POWs, and Gold Star families. Manafort and Gates can talk about how they've worked for every dictator and thug in the world, and Roger Ailes can talk about how he's harrassed vulnerable young women at Fox News. It's really going to be quite a scene, there, at the Trump headquarters. What does a pivot mean when you're a man like Donald Trump?
