In a newly released email exchange between then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and John Podesta, Hillary emails Podesta asking, "When can we talk?"
It's urgent, because, Clinton notes, "This is the right thing to do and I do not believe there are any serious obstacles, [REDACTED]."
Podesta replies a few hours later to apologize, not having seen the email and likely provides his contact information for Clinton to call.
Clinton replies:
"I'm on endless calls about the UN. Could I call you early tomorrow? Would btw 6:30 and 8:00 be too early? Please wear socks to bed to keep your feet warm."
Presumably Podesta was feeling under the weather, so Clinton was likely providing motherly advice to a 66-year-old, one year her junior.
