Well, look, if Stephanie Cutter says it, then it must be so.  And have there been obstacles?  Absolutely.  This is an environment where people call their political opponents felons and accuse them of causing innocent people to die from cancer and wanting to put black people back in chains. Those are pretty big obstacles when you are talking about civility and a new tone in Washington and that sort of thing.

And you know what?  It is a lot more fun to talk about this sort of stuff than to get under the hood of the latest CBO report.  Who wants to be talking about another recession when you can be deploring dirty politics?  

That's a no-brainer, right?
