Conversation With ... Representative Paul Ryan, the first in a series of conversations e21/ Manhattan Institute will be hosting with influential lawmakers and policy experts. National Press Club  Thursday, January 6 from 12 noon - 1:00 p.m.  Please join us for a discussion with the incoming Chairman of the House Budget Committee, Rep. Paul Ryan. . Paul Gigot, the Pulitzer Prize winning Editorial Page Editor of The Wall Street Journal, will direct the discussion of the GOP’s agenda for the 112th Congress, the fiscal challenges ahead, the role of the Fed, and more.  “Conversations With...” is a new series of substantive, in-depth discussions with influential lawmakers and public figures on the most important economic issues facing the nation. The purpose of the events is to deepen the public’s understanding of the challenges and choices we face in the years ahead, to generate light instead of heat, and to hear from those responsible for implementing economic policies at the national and state levels.
