Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, blasted the Obama administration Wednesday for promising full inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities, only to end up with a deal that gives Iran the power to negotiate and resist some inspections.
"Secretary Ernest Moniz, the Energy secretary, who was at the table with Secretary [of State John] Kerry in negotiating this deal, he said, 'We expect to have … anywhere, anytime access.' He said that on April 20, 2015 … but by the weekend, the administration was singing a different tune," said Cornyn.
Many have criticized the agreement as one that could delay some inspections for more than three weeks.
