Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden shared an awkward hug in Pennsylvania Monday when the vice president seemed to refuse to let go of the Democratic nominee.

The two met on a tarmac just ahead of their appearance together for a campaign rally in Biden's childhood hometown of Scranton.

Clinton's appearance with Biden in the Quaker State is the latest in her campaign's ongoing efforts to woo voters in critical swing states. Her running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., is campaigning Monday in North Carolina, which has moved in recent weeks from "lean GOP" to "toss up."
