You can learn more about Michelle Rhee's reforms of D.C.'s troubled public schools while helping students in those same classrooms with one swift AmEx swipe. The producers of the documentary "Waiting for 'Superman' " are partnering with DonorsChoose.org, an online education charity, to donate $25 to the classroom of your choice with every "Superman" DVD or Blu-ray purchase. "Superman," named best documentary by the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, will be released on DVD on Feb. 15. Fans can direct their $25 credit to any classroom project listed on DonorsChoose.org. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from each sale will benefit Get Schooled, an independent nonprofit focused on improving high school graduation and college attendance rates. lgartner@washingtonexaminer.com
