Witnesses are questioning the police response to the Uvalde, Texas, elementary school shooting that left 21 dead, including 19 children and two teachers. The shooter was not confronted by law enforcement before entering the school, and it was reported by witnesses that law enforcement waited 40 minutes before entering the building to confront the gunman. Witnesses also reported that police stopped parents from rushing into the school to save their children during the attack.
