Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a professor of medicine at Stanford University, has been an outspoken skeptic of coronavirus lockdowns and mask mandates. The course of the disease over the last two years has proven his early admonitions right and many of his detractors wrong about the lockdowns. In this interview with the Washington Examiner’s Doug McKelway, Bhattacharya goes further, suggesting that much of the public health establishment, as well as many politicians, has shed scientific reasoning for panic when it comes to COVID-19.
