Montgomery County police say an arrest has been made in the Saturday slaying at Suburban Hospital.

Police say a 49-year-old male employee at the hospital stabbed to death another employee, 40-year-old Roosevelt Brockington Jr.

Brockington, of Calvert County, had worked at the site since August 2006 as a lead engineer in the Plant Operations Department. He was responsible for maintaining the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Police did not name the suspect arrested and said they would announce more details at a news conference later this morning.

Police have said they believe the killing was not random.
