UPDATE, 2:45 p.m. The power is back at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, but the lines are long.
UPDATE: 1:40 p.m.: Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority spokeswoman Courtney Mickalonis says the power outage is affecting flights out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
She says the power outage is affecting security, concessions and the ticket counters in terminals B and C as well as the headquarters building.
She urged passengers to contact their airlines for any delays or cancellations. Passengers are being asked to print their boarding passes before arriving at the airport.

A power outage at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is disrupting security screening at Terminals B and C.
The power outage occurred around 11:30 a.m., according to a WTOP report, and officials are still working to get the power back up. No word yet on whether flights are affected.
This is at least the third power outage at Reagan this year.
