FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (AP) — University of Mary Washington President Richard V. Hurley's contract has been extended for three years.
The university says in a news release that the Board of Visitors unanimously approved the extension during its annual retreat last week. Hurley's contract will run through June 30, 2015.
Hurley became the university's ninth president on July 1, 2010.
Board members also named Pamela J. White as the board's rector, Holly T. Cuellar as vice rector and Xavier R. Richardson as secretary. Each will serve two-year terms.
