Police have identified two men who were killed in separate shootings in the District over the weekend.

D.C. police said that Terrence Robinson, 48, of Southeast D.C., was the victim in Saturday morning's homicide on the 2600 block of Douglas Road SE.

Officers found Robinson in that block suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at about 5:20 a.m. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.

In a separate slaying, police identified 40-year-old Simon Anderson as the man who was fatally shot in Petworth Sunday.

About 3 a.m. Sunday, police found Anderson suffering from gunshot wounds on the 3500 block of Georgia Avenue NW. Anderson was pronounced dead by a member of the medical examiner's office.
