County sheriffs in Texas reported two fatalities in a shooting at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, Friday morning.

According to the Associated Press, a senior U.S. official confirmed that an airman shot his commander in a murder-suicide.

Bexar County Sheriff's deputies cleared the buildings on the base. A spokesman told CBS News that police found two dead inside the building.

"Right now, we do believe that those two are victims of a murder suicide," a spokesman told CBS News. Other reports said it no longer appeared to be an active shooter situation.
