Twitter has reinstated the account of the person responsible for publishing contact information for Democratic members of Congress.
#Guccifer2 Here I am! They'll have to try much harder to block me! #DNCleak #dccchack

"Here I am! They'll have to try much harder to block me!" said the account for "Guccifer 2.0" after its reinstatement Sunday. The move came hardly 24 hours after Twitter shut it down on Saturday.

Guccifer on Friday released cellphone numbers and personal emails addresses for around 200 Democratic members of Congress, as well as for hundreds of staff members, and Democratic passwords for different online databases including PACER and LexisNexis. That information was published on a WordPress blog in a post subsequently disabled by website officials.
Twitter has not provided a reason or statement for the account's reinstatement. The site has come under fire for failing to do enough to crack down on terrorists and criminals, yet bans members such as conservative Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulous. The company in February formed a "Trust and Safety" panel that it said would work toward building "greater compassion and empathy on the Internet."
