Early Wednesday, Turkey rolled tanks and special forces across the southern border into Syria to free the town of Jarablus from Islamic State militants.

Dubbed "Euphrates Shield," the operation is a major one for Turkey, which launched the offensive in reaction to a series of cross-border attacks and with the aid of Syrian opposition groups.
It's unclear who started the Twitter account. Since it was created around 7 a.m. Washington time, the account has posted photos, videos, maps, operational updates and speeches from Turkish officials.
