Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump retweeted a claim by a Twitter user late Friday that more than 1 million supporters of the Manhattan businessman have sent postcards to the Republican National Committee, telling GOP leadership they will only vote for Trump.

"@Cam: Reports are RNC has received +1 million postcards so far! If I get more info on ## I'll post @AnnCoulter," Trump shared with his 5 million followers.

The front of the postcard reads, "I will only vote for Donald Trump. #USAforTrump2016."

The message on the other side says, "This postcard was purchased by registered voter who will only vote for Donald Trump! Do not steal this election. We the people want Donald Trump to serve as President of the United States of America!"

Despite Trump's regurgitating the claim, the number has not been validated by other organizations. The Trump campaign has not responded to a request for comment on the issue.

The GOP front-runner has gotten into trouble in the past for retweeting accounts that were later found to be offensive or not politically correct.
