Donald Trump again went after Ted Cruz Thursday over his "New York values" attack line ahead of the state's April 19 primary.
In an Instagram ad, Trump warned Cruz that New Yorkers "don't forget" his attack from January, before the Iowa caucuses. The 15-second-long video invoked the city's recovery from the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
"Everyone understands that the values in New York City ... focus around money and the media," Cruz says in the ad from the Fox Business debate prior to the South Carolina primary.
"I saw something that no place on earth could have handled more beautifully, more humanely than New York," Trump said responding to Cruz at the debate. The ad itself then flashed across the screen "New York Values are American Values."
The attack from Trump came only a day after Cruz made a stop in the Bronx and as the Texas senator continued to campaign in the state, with an early event in Scotia and two events in Brooklyn on Thursday evening.
