Donald Trump thinks his Democratic opponent should receive an "award" from Islamic State militants because she helped found the terror group, he claimed on Wednesday.

"It was Hillary Clinton – she should take an award from them as the founder of ISIS," the Republican presidential nominee told his supporters at a mid-afternoon rally in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Trump has previously accused Clinton of "unleashing" radical Islamic terror groups during her tenure as secretary of state, but Wednesday marked the first time he suggested his opponent deserves an award from jihadists.
