The George Washington Parkway is finally moving after a more than 12-hour standstill, according to tweets from WTOP reporter Neal Augenstein. Park Police reopened both northbound lanes of the major thoroughfare at about 10:30 a.m., as abandoned cars were towed to overlooks and to Theodore Roosevelt Island.
