The Arlington Public Library will hold a tech guide for checking out digital eBooks from the county's library system Tuesday at the Central Library Auditorium at 7 p.m.

The eReader clinic will instruct residents with compatible devices how to use the library’s free book downloads. Essentially, readers can download an available copy of an eBook license, and then have a set number of weeks to finish reading the book before the temporary license expires and the book vanishes for the reader’s mobile device.

A list of compatible devices, including iPads and Nooks, are available at the library’s website.
