SWANSEA, Wales (AP) — Swansea has signed South Korea midfielder Ki Sung-yueng from Scottish champion Celtic.
The 23-year-old Ki has signed a three-year contract with the south Wales club, which has just started its second season in the English Premier League.
Ki says Swansea "is growing and growing, and the style here is very attractive to me."
Contract details weren't disclosed but Swansea said Ki was signing for a "club record transfer."
Ki helped South Korea's Olympic football team win bronze earlier this month at the London Games.
