D.C. police have arrested a man suspected in a homicide in which the victim was stabbed and shot.
Lamonte Hill, 20, was arrested Thursday and charged with second-degree murder for the death of 26-year-old Brian Dewayne Bloomfield, police said.
On June 11, officers went to the 3400 block of 13th Place SE and found Bloomfield suffering from multiple injuries. He was taken to a hospital, where he died. The medical examiner's office determined that Bloomfield had been both stabbed and shot.
