It seemed Tiger Woods' reign atop the Harris Poll's annual America's Favorite Sports Star survey was certain to end after his marital woes surfaced. But believe it or not, Woods surfed through months of tawdry scandal and remained at No. 1 for 2010.

Yes, he's actually tied now with Lakers star Kobe Bryant. But this has to rank among his greatest feats because it should not have been possible. Woods' infidelity scandal has reportedly cost him $22 million in endorsements since November. But at least the public still loves him. Maybe that will bring the advertisers back, too.

Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter is at No. 3, and -- somehow -- Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was No. 4. They must not have sampled voters in Wisconsin. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning rounded out the top five.
