Prince George's County police have identified the man killed in an apartment complex in Forest Heights.

Police said Terrance Calvin Hunter, 30, is the county's sixth homicide victim of the new year. At this time last year , the county had two homicides.

Around 9 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 1300 block of Southview Drive after receiving a call for an assault and found Hunter in a stairwell of the complex with trauma to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said detectives believe that the killing might be drug related, but have not identified a suspect or motive.
