An 18-year-old female was sexually assaulted Tuesday night, the fourth such attack at the Avant Apartment Complex in Annandale in less than two months.

The teenager was about to enter her apartment at about 7 p.m., when the man ran up from behind, grabbed her and fondled her. A family member heard the attack and chased the suspect away.

Police said the man has attacked three other women since May 9. In each case, he fled after the victim screamed. Police describe the suspect as Asian, about 19, 5-feet-5 and 200 pounds. He had shoulder-length black hair, glasses and wore dark clothing.
