Montgomery County police are looking for the person who stole several bronze sculptures from a Bethesda museum over the weekend. Police said someone took several large sculptures from an outside garden area at the Ratner Museum, located at 10001 Old Georgetown Road, sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday. No suspects have been identified, Montgomery County police spokeswoman Angela Cruz said Tuesday.

Six works were removed or damaged, police said. The value of the lost and damaged works is about $90,000.

Police believe the sculptures were stolen for their salvage or recycling value.

Each piece weighs about 40 pounds is about a foot wide and two and a half feet long.
