What’s up with the recent thawing of Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson’s frosty relationship? Though the ex-girlfriends had kept their distance following a slew of drama-filled incidents — including when LiLo threw a drink at Sam in a nightclub — they have been spotted together since Lindsay was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

“Sam wanted to distance herself from Lindsay when they split up,” a source told People magazine. “But Sam never stopped caring. She genuinely cares about Lindsay and just wants to see her get better.”

The DJ, who has been visiting her former lover in the sober-living facility where she checked in last week, “is sober,” the source said. “She gets it. She knows what Lindsay is going through and she knows she needs good people around her helping her down the right path.”

Dream vanished

The-Dream is opening up about his failed marriage to Christina Milian, and why the couple hid the fact that they were estranged until the producer was caught on camera cavorting with his assistant. He said he was so distraught about the demise of his relationship with the singer that he attempted to take his own life.

“I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer, and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming,” The-Dream wrote on his blog. “It’s easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT’S NOT.”

Truth tooth

After Radar Online released a photo showing Oksana Grigorieva with two badly chipped front teeth, a controversy ensued. Murmurs began that the Russian musician was making up allegations of assault by then-boyfriend Mel Gibson.

TMZ claimed that law enforcement sources who analyzed photos and video footage of her injuries said they showed “no evidence of external or internal damage,” and that police were investigating the possibility that the damage to her veneers was self-inflicted.

Her rep fired back, accusing Mel’s camp of trying to “vilify the victim. It is obvious ... that she sustained injuries as a result of [Gibson’s] blows.”

In a Thursday hearing, TMZ reported, a judge upheld a custody agreement, with Mel maintaining his right to spend time with the couple’s baby daughter, Lucia.
