Montgomery County Council members — after taking more than a month-long vacation — will return to work Tuesday.
In the morning, the council will hold a hearing on an extensive rewrite of the zoning code. The potential overhaul has led to widespread criticism from residents that their neighborhoods will be overrun with multi-family housing.
And later in the day, the council will review a study — first reported by The Washington Examiner — that shows many students don't feel safe at school.
The council meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.
