The American Conservative Union's Nuestra Noche party raged on in Ybor City Monday night, drawing long lines and appearances from Sen. Marco Rubio; Tagg, Craig, and Ben Romney; Geraldo Rivera; Govs. Susana Martinez (New Mexico) and Brian Sandoval (Nevada); former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson; and a lot of wonky types trying to salsa.

One unexpected guest: the fire marshall, who at one point stopped guests from entering. Weather concerns forced the ACU to take down an outdoor tent, limiting party space for attendees.

A more demure party took place a few blocks away at the Honey Pot, where View PAC (Value in Electing Women) hosted its White House Party. A handful of congressional members, as well as political activist Cathy Gillespie and her husband, senior Mitt Romney advisor Ed Gillespie, showed up. Rep. Mary Bono Mack, R-Calif., also appeared on stage, holding hands with husband Rep. Connie Mack, R-Fla.
