ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" is expected to welcome a politician and controversial Olympic medalists to the dance floor when it kicks off season 23 next month.

Former Texas Gov. and presidential candidate Rick Perry, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez and Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte will be part of the celebrity cast, ET reported late Monday.

Country music singer Jana Kramer, rapper Vanilla Ice, actress Marilu Henner, retired NFL player Calvin Johnson, Indy race car driver James Hinchcliffe, "Brady Bunch" star Maureen McCormick, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Amber Rose, Jake Austin and "Little Woman: LA" star Terra Jole will also compete in the fall season.

The full cast will be announced on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday. The show will premiere Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
