PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gas prices in Rhode Island have climbed six cents in the last week.

AAA Southern New England said Monday that the average price for a gallon of regular in the Ocean State is $3.68, six cents higher than last week's average and 21 cents more than last month.

Prices at the pump in Rhode Island are seven cents higher than the national average of $3.61.

A year ago at this time, Rhode Islanders were paying an average of $3.82 per gallon.
