[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9mZcvr49N8]Barack Obama loves Occupy, but apparently that love was not mutual for protesters connected with the Occupy movement who occupied the President’s campaign offices in Oakland, Calif., and Portland, Ore. late Thursday.

The protesters demanded the release of Private First Class Bradley Manning who handed over thousands of classified documents to WikiLeaks, endangering the lives of countless service personnel and intelligence assets by making the nation's secrets available to the nation’s enemies.

Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton and some in Congress have suggested that Manning be charged with treason for his activities.

According to varying news reports, between 60 and 100 protesters rallied and took over the Obama campaign office in Oakland.

In a video of the protest, a man is shown standing holding a bullhorn rattling of a list of demands regarding the treatment of Manning.

“We will not leave until our demands about the illegal treatment of our fellow soldier have been met,” the protester with the bullhorn said, and a male voice is heard off camera, saying “This is what change looks like.”

Their first demand involved having Obama apologize for saying that Manning “broke the law” by handing over classified material to WikiLeaks, suggesting that Manning would not get a fair trial. Their second demand involved having Obama pardon Manning.

Six people were arrested for trespassing in Oakland and a further six were arrested at the Portland headquarters.

It marks the second time this month that Occupiers have targeted the Obama headquarters in Oakland. A poster on the radical website IndyBay.org reported on Aug.4, 2012 that Occupiers had smashed windows at the headquarters the night before to protest Obama’s “too-good-to-be-true campaign promises.”

According to IndyBay.org, the radicals have called for similar protests during the Democratic National Convention and on Aug. 28 and Oct. 1 when Manning returns to court at Ft. Meade, Md.
