In her effort to seem like a normal person, Hillary Clinton tried and failed to get on the NYC subway four times on Thursday. Apparently swiping a MetroCard is a lot harder than wiping a computer's hard drive.
Almost immediately after the incident, Clinton's defenders claimed it takes every New Yorker several swipes to board the subway.
Yes, it took Hillary Clinton three or four swipes to get through the turnstile. Also, it takes everyone three or four swipes.

Fox and Friends visited a subway station in Manhattan to see how long it took an average New Yorker to swipe their MetroCard and board the subway. While it obviously wasn't a scientific study, they all were able to do it a lot faster than Clinton.
