Sen. Rand Paul isn't trying to be coy about his plans for the U.S. tax code.
The presidential candidate announced in a video Tuesday that he has made it his mission to literally chainsaw the entire tax code.
The video begins, "Hey, I'm Rand Paul, and I'm trying kill the tax code, all 70,000 pages of it."
As an electric guitar roars with his chainsaw, he reveals that his plan is to replace the code with a new one-page tax code, a one-page tax return, and a flat tax of 14.5 percent.
"How would you kill the tax code?" the video asked. "With a chainsaw? With a woodchipper? Burn it?"
"If you want to know more about my plan," Paul said, "Go to RandPaul.com and you can learn more about it."
