Dylan Perera, a student at New York University and a Donald Trump supporter, said that college campuses are so hostile towards supporters of the Republican front-runner that many of them are afraid to admit they like him.

On Fox and Friends Monday, the NYU student discussed the hatred he has experienced from other students.

“One time I had this girl start screaming at me, calling me 'racist,' 'fascist,' all these grand claims,” he said. “I was stunned by how negative the reaction was, and how emotional the reaction was.”

He claimed many fellow Trump supporters live in fear of "coming out" in favor of the Republican front-runner.

It's not just fellow students who intimidate the billionaire's supporters. Perera said that professors and administrators can make students' lives harder if they come out as a Trump supporter, and withhold letters of recommendations and internship opportunities.
