Most of Donald Trump's former Celebrity Apprentice contestants have stayed silent on his presidential run, but Trump scored an endorsement from one star that's just as controversial as himself.
NBA champion and part-time North Korean ambassador Dennis Rodman tweeted out his support for Trump Friday.
@realDonaldTrump has been a great friend for many years. We don't need another politician, we need a businessman like Mr. Trump! Trump 2016

Trump thanked him for the kind words.
Thank you @DennisRodman. It's time to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain! I hope you are doing well! https://t.co/H7d2ZLmod2

But Politico noted that Twitter exchanged between the two haven't always been so friendly.
Trump originally praised Rodman for going to North Korea, but then took issue when Rodman apparently said in an interview that Trump wanted to go to North Korea with him.
The billionaire then tweeted, “Never discussed, no interest, last place on Earth I want to go."
He also wrote, “Dennis Rodman was either drunk or on drugs (delusional) when he said I wanted to go to North Korea with him. Glad I fired him on Apprentice!”
