A Georgia women’s college is apologizing for a raunchy email sent to advertise a breast cancer awareness event. The email mentioned festival games like “cop a feel” and “ring the boob,” according to local news reports.

The Office of Health Services at Brenau University’s Women’s College sent the crude email to more than 1,000 students and staff members last week. The school sent an apology and retraction email within an hour of the original email being sent out, stating the email was sent "in an effort to make a serious topic more light hearted."

“I think it was just an ill-directed attempt to gain some attention for this event. But apparently, obviously, this was a little over the top,” Ben McDade, vice president of marketing and communications, said, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Several Brenau University students said the names of the games were in poor taste.

“Sometimes, words are trigger words for some people so you have to be careful,” sophomore Bianca Banks said.
