President Obama issued a presidential proclamation on Monday marking April 12 National Equal Pay Day of 2016, so Democrats can perpetuate the lie that the patriarchy and capitalism have teamed up to discriminate against women.
"The pay gap between men and women offends our values as Americans, and as long as it exists, our businesses, our communities, and our nation will suffer as a consequence," the president said in a statement.
Of course, there is less reliable data that the gender pay gap exists than there is evidence that Big Foot is real.
Thankfully, some people on social media have combatted the left's lie that tells women they are victims in society.
Here are some of the best #EqualPayDay tweets:

#EqualPayDay: the day Liberals tell women we're victims instead of looking at facts. Choices of flexibility, career & family aren't sexism.

The real proof of the need for #EqualPayDay is that Caitlyn Jenner's pay dropped 22 percent upon Bruce declaring himself a woman.

It has been illegal for businesses to pay women less than men since the Equal Pay Act of 1963.
