There’s nothing that brings attention to a company quite like the President.

President Obama got a tour of the manufacturing facility when he paid a visit to Thompson Creek Windows in Landover last Friday. In the past two years, Thompson Creek has doubled its workforce to nearly 300 employees and the company expects to add another 100 jobs in 2011. The President mentioned Thompson Creek in his remarks on the latest unemployment statistics in December when he said that a company like theirs “speaks to the promise of America.”
