SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — A producer of screens for the mining industry is expanding its operations in Spartanburg County, creating 32 new jobs.
Polydeck Screen Corp. announced Tuesday that the company will invest $7 million in expanding its headquarters. Plans include buying property nearby and adding several pieces of equipment, such as a water jet and several injection molding machines.
Polydeck makes screening systems for the sand and gravel, coal, and mining industries.
Company officials say Polydeck has expanded its Spartanburg operations five times since opening in 1978.
