Hillary Clinton holds a 6-point lead over rival Donald Trump in Florida, according to a new poll of likely voters in the state.
According to the latest Suffolk University poll, Clinton leads Trump 48 percent to 42 percent in a head-to-head matchup in the important Sunshine State.
In a four-way matchup, Clinton leads Trump by 4 points: 43 percent to 39 percent. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson grabs 4 percent, and 3 percent goes to Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
Regardless of who they will vote for, Florida voters are emotional about this year's election.
Fifty-four percent say they feel "alarmed" about the election, while 28 percent said they were "excited." Another 10 percent are "bored" and 8 percent are undecided.
The telephone poll was conducted Aug. 1-3, surveying 500 likely voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.
