Vice President Kamala Harris channeled her inner Ms. Frizzle on Thursday while touring an electric bus garage in North Carolina.

"The wheels on the bus go round and round," the vice president chimed after honking one bus's horn.

The bus was inside the Charlotte Area Transit System's bus garage, where the vice president and company received a tour to learn about electric buses.

Harris, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and Rep. Alma Adams, a North Carolina Democrat, visited the state to discuss the influence of the infrastructure law.

Harris's approval rating fell to 28% in October, according to a USA Today/Suffolk poll. In response to decreasing approval numbers, the vice president said in November, "Polls — they go up, they go down."
