Conservatives voiced their opinions on social media after White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed President Joe Biden's administration would not send officials to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

"The Biden administration will not send any diplomatic or official representation to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics given the [People's Republic of China's] ongoing genocide and crimes against humanity in Xinjiang and other human rights abuses," Psaki said.

Many conservatives referred to the president's action as "weak."

WHITE HOUSE CONFIRMS BEIJING WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES DIPLOMATIC BOYCOTT

"A diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Olympics is a joke. China doesn’t care if Biden and Team show up. They want our athletes," former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley posted to Twitter.

"A diplomatic boycott of the #Olympics is not enough," wrote former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. "The CCP doesn’t give a rip about a diplomatic boycott, because at the end of the day, they are still hosting the world’s athletes. Joe Biden needs to stand up to the CCP."

Sen. Tom Cotton, an Arkansas Republican, called a diplomatic boycott a "half measure."
