Santa Claus will be able to go down the chimney this Christmas, provided he remains socially distant.

Santa is fully vaccinated and "good to go" for Christmas, according to Dr. Anthony Fauci.

"I vaccinated Santa Claus myself," the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director said. "I measured his level of immunity, and he is good to go."

Santa has "great innate immunity," President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser added. "He is even more protected because he has been fully vaccinated and boosted."

"Santa will be just fine and is good to go."

About 76% of Americans 5 years and older are at least partially vaccinated, and close to 20% of American adults have received booster shots, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
